Tonight in the garden I spied my first open dahlia bloom of 2011. Not surprisingly, it was on a plant that was in the first row that I planted this year. It's a bloom of "Raeann's Peach" a single dark blend of orange and red. Today was overcast until after 1:00 PM so the colors on this have stayed bright and vivid.
