Today I found my first ripe tomato of the year! Not surprisingly, it was a cherry tomato. "Galina" is a yellow cherry-type of Russian ancestry. This is the first year that I have grown this variety. The plant is doing very well despite the occasional trimming it is receiving by the deer pushing against the deer netting. The plant is loaded with clusters of green fruit so this should be the first of many to follow.
Hooray for ripe tomatoes! Congrats!
